* If your picky eater is not used to fresh ginger, start with a smaller piece than suggested. My picky eater is officially a ginger lover now... but it was a good 2-3 years of working small amounts into dishes to get his palette used to the flavour punch!

When my guy was a savage about anything "healthy," I went out and bought coloured smoothie glasses with lids and steel reusable straws (the things we do, honestly!). That way he couldn't see the colour and was less likely to complain. #momwin
